Rosie: White Molly Mule

Rosie is now up for adoption! She is very sound, and runs and kicks around with ease and exuberance. She came to us from a vet office where it was explained that the original owner did not want to deal with her founder issues and wanted to have her put down. We took her under our wing and helped rehabilitate her hooves, her health, and trust. She has been ridden on trail, and does require a rider that has experience with mules. We believe she may have been used as a pack mule, but we have not tried her out on it. She also may have been beaten by her previous owner as she was sensitive around her face and flinched a lot when we first got her. It took a lot of work to earn her trust. She's approximately 12-13 years old, stands approximately 14hh, and is a sweet, affectionate mule that loves having her ears scratched! She loads, ties, and behaves well when trimming her hooves.
